Hello everyone, this is a brief tutorial on the new sign-in sheet we're implementing for in-person trainings. It's super important that we get these sign-in sheets at conclusion of your training, preferably on the final day at lunchtime. These sign-in sheets are used to calculate not only your 31 plus fee, but also used to get participants into the system so that we can issue credit and give them access to their exams when applicable. When you first open up the sign-in sheet, it's going to be super important that you fill in the training title, client name, and dates of training if they are not already filled in. Additionally, that you confirm that all participants have unique email addresses. If the email addresses are not unique, for example, person one and person two, were they to both have the personone at naro.org email address, in this case, we would be unable to issue credit or provide access to the exam because it wouldn't be able to link directly back to their individual OASIS account. When it comes to taking attendance, we've simplified it with a check box method. That means that, for example, if person one attended days one through three, you would simply check day one, two, and three. They were absent for four and five, you're going to go ahead and leave those boxes blank. The same for person two, it looks like they've attended all five days. And let's say person three went to days one and two, was sick on day three, and attended day four and five, you're going to want to track that just like this. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or anyone on the PD team. Your best bet is going to be emailing professionaldevelopment at naro.org, just in case I'm out of the office. Thanks so much and have a good day, guys.
Video Summary
The tutorial explains the process for completing a new sign-in sheet for in-person training sessions. The sheets, due by the final day's lunchtime, are crucial for calculating fees, issuing credits, and providing exam access. Key steps include verifying the unique email addresses of participants, filling in training details, and marking attendance using checkboxes for each day attended. Unique emails are essential to link to individual OASIS accounts for credit. For assistance, contact the professional development team via email.
